A lifted truck gives you more ground clearance, which is not only useful when having to travel on rough terrain, but allows the driver access to funner and more challenging off-roading courses.  Mildly lifted trucks also improve your towing capabilities as the weight advantage with the towed vehicle gives better control.Depending on how a lift you put on your truck, as a driver you’ll have a better view of the road and anything that is happening around you.  This can help to avoid dangerous situations that folks in smaller cars are not aware of until they are much closer.  It’s also easier to drive a lifted truck in bad weather as having a truck up so high can allow you to pass through roads that are impassable by smaller cars due to debris or flooding.
